: than 28.8 requires compatible 33.6 modems on both ends, AND requires an
: exceptionally good quality phone line. You are lucky if you're getting
: consistent connections at 28.8.
It sounds like your the one that doesn't know what your talking about. He very clearly said "using compression", so I bet he wants to know how to display DTE
speed (i.e., 115200, etc.) rather than DCE. I'd help, but don't have a USR.
